The Hotel Caserio del Lobones is the result of a delicate and detailed restoration of a unique country house standing in its own estate, not far from the beautiful city of Segovia. The quality of the restoration is such that it has achieved the special designation “Posada Real” and is the only rural hotel in Castilla Leon to gain a “5 espigas” rating.

As much as possible of the original fabric of the house has been retained, including baked clay floor tiles and fine mosaics. Many of the 18th and 19th century antiques that adorn the house are family heirlooms. The interior is extravagantly decorated with heavy curtains, lots of floral patterns, elegant fireplaces and there is even a 19th century private chapel.

The guest rooms enjoy a slightly lighter touch, still warm and inviting with floral prints in abundance. Each room is fully equipped with a full bathroom, television, telephone and internet connection.

The gardens surrounding the house are the last work by the celebrated landscape designer Leandro Silva. The house is surrounded by groves of ash and pine, which make very pleasant walks. For those venturing a little further afield, hotel reception can advise on suitable routes in the area.

Caserio de Lobones is popular with tourists and businesses alike, offering numerous facilities for business meetings and events.

Cancellations:

Cancellations must be received in writing (fax or e-mail) at least 3 days before scheduled arrival. Later cancellations will be charged for a one night stay. Early departures and no-shows will be charged the full amount.
