Such has been the success of the Hotel Casa Del Maestro, that the people behind it have now opened the Suites Del Maestro, another exquisite little hotel in the heart of Seville. The same philosophy applies, but the "Suites" offers greater personal space and comfort, along with the benefits of having one's own private sitting room and kitchen immediately on hand. The two-bedroom suites are ideal for people travelling with children.
The position is unbeatable: just a few yards from the cathedral's Gate of Pardons, that leads to the Patio de Los Naranjos, overlooked by the Giralda, right in the tourist centre of the city. This is a new building on three floors, with a central patio (in true Seville style) and a rooftop terrace looking straight across to the Giralda.
Having arrived at the hotel by taxi (if you come by car, you will need to leave it in the nearest car park), you will pass through into the central patio where you will be met by the butler. For the rest of your stay, he will be the person who will attend to everything for you. Each of the six suites is named after a contemporary of the maestro flamenco guitarist, Niño Ricardo, who was the former owner of the original Casa Del Maestro. The suites are lovingly and elaborately decorated, each with a lounge, kitchen, bathroom and one or two bedrooms.
Right at the top of the house, the Lola Flores and Pepe Pinto suites have private roof terraces that look out across the centre of the city, the cathedral and the Giralda. The views are especially notable at dusk when the splendours of the city are laid out before you.
